March 29, 2012 – Yung PK

CUC 4x6 March 2012 - Yung PK - Back

Born into a religious family, Yung PK was exposed to church since birth. Growing up he found himself having a sincere and meaningful spiritual life. Only “discovering” hip-hop at the age of 10, he had some catching up to do. PK, who at the time had already had the opportunity to perform in various states felt he wanted more out of his live performances. So he had compiled an incredibly talented live band to play with him at his shows. Yung PK and his band were chosen and voted in to play at LIFEST, the well renowned Christian Music Festival.

Thus, Ceili Rain is a “downpour of heavenly partiness.” CEILI RAIN is an innovative blend of pop-rock music with a dash of Celtic/Irish flavor and a subtle, but sincere, spiritual message. The band is led by frontman, Bob Halligan Jr. As a songwriter, Bob Halligan, Jr., has had over 140 songs recorded by well-known rock artists, including Cher, Michael Bolton, Judas Priest, KISS, Kathy Mattea, Bob Carlisle, Rebecca St. James, Jump 5, Maire Brennan and countless others.
